girl with watering can painting

I have a painting of the girl with watering can on canvas that is done with oil paints. I got this when I was 15yrs old from a friend of mine whose mother had it and was going to throw it out. I am now 58yrs old and I know that her mother had the painting for awhile also. I have always had it hanging in my hallway and it has not faded or worn. Just wondering if it could be worth something.

hello, my grandmother owns the little girl mannequin that renoir used for his many paintings with this little girl in them. She is almost 95yrs old and is looking to sell it. I however am not. but anyone interested? we have authenticity papers and she has traveled the country doing museum visits. currently she is in a secure location.

I have this painting

Oh wow, I have this very picture hanging in my living room. My grandmother purchased it in France a long time ago and my father passed it on to me about 4 or 5 years ago. My father passed in 2003 so I am not able to find out if he know what year grandma purchased it. How do I find out if it is an original?

Me encanta Renoir; es mi pintor favorito. Me hubiese gustado mucho estar a su lado y ser una modelo en sus pinturas. Lo que mas me gusta es su tecnica y la forma particular que tenìa para retratar , hacia notable su vision - muy noble por cierto- de las personas y la expresion que lograba de la mirada es fantàstica.

The painting brings out the best of Renoir... The soothing colour of green is well contrasted with the conspicous dress colour of a little girl and, yet they both harmonize perfectly with each other. An exceptional work of art.
